NVDA trading tool

NVDA position size calculator.

Define the possible loss first. Enter your account balance, risk percentage, planned entry and stop to estimate a share quantity.

Position size = dollar risk ÷ absolute distance between entry and stop. This is an educational estimate before fees, spread, slippage, margin, corporate actions, and taxes.

How the calculation works

Dollar risk = account balance × risk percentage. The calculator divides that amount by the absolute price distance between entry and stop. The result is the share quantity that would lose approximately the selected dollar amount if filled and exited exactly at those prices.

Why the real result can differ

Stops do not guarantee a fill price. Earnings gaps, breaking news, slippage, fees, spread, extended-hours liquidity, leverage and broker rules can all change the outcome.

Whole and fractional shares

Fractional-share availability and supported order types vary by broker. Round down to a quantity your account supports, confirm buying power, and consider using less risk around scheduled company events.
